Warriors vs. Clippers injury report: James Harden questionable, Seth Curry out
The Golden State Warriors haven’t been playing the best or prettiest basketball in the world lately, but they’ve been quietly getting the job done. They’ve won six of their last eight games and, after tonight, play eight straight games at home.
Which means if they can beat the LA Clippers on the road, they’ll enter a soft part of the schedule with some momentum, and a chance to make something of a run. And thankfully for the Dubs, they’ve got a healthy squad going into the Intuit Dome. Here’s the full injury report.
Warriors
Out — Seth Curry (left sciatic nerve irritation)
The bad news is that the younger Curry is out once again, and has still only played in two games with the Warriors. The good news is that he’s the only player on the injury report for Golden State. The only other unavailable players are LJ Cryer and Malevy Leons, who are two-way contracts who won’t be suiting up.
Clippers
Out — Chris Paul (not with team)
Yes, Paul is still technically a member of the Clippers, despite his ugly divorce from the team in his final NBA season. They sent him home, but didn’t waive him, presumably so they can use his salary to help facilitate some potential trades over the next month.
Out — Bradley Beal (left hip fracture)
LA’s season has not gone at all according to plan, in part because of Paul’s forced absence and Beal’s unfortunate one. The three-time All-Star played in just six games with his new team before undergoing season-ending surgery.
Out — Bogdan Bogdanović (left hamstring injury management)
Bogdanović has been having the worst season of his nine-year NBA career. He’s playing a career-low 22.5 minutes per game, and averaging just 8.0 points … the first time in his career that he’s been in the single digits. His 33.3% clip from deep is the second-worst of the sharpshooter’s career and, thanks to injuries, he’s only played in 16 of LA’s 34 games. That doesn’t figure to change anytime soon, as he doesn’t yet have a timetable to return as he misses his fifth consecutive contest.
